Socio-Environmental Action - ASA signs Technical Cooperation Agreement with INEA

Last Tuesday (05/30), the team from the State Secretariat for the Environment and Sustainability (Seas) and the State Institute for the Environment (INEA) held an event to celebrate the International Atlantic Forest Day.

The event, held at APA Macacu in Cachoeiras de Macacu, featured lectures on the work developed by INEA and, at the end of the morning, the President of Ação Socioambiental - ASA, Gabriela Viana, and the Vice-Governor of the State, Thiago Pampolha, signed a Technical Cooperation Agreement between the institutions.

On the same day, the event participants also visited the tapir acclimatization enclosure, where they were able to learn more about the tapir (Tapirus terrestris) reintroduction and monitoring project carried out by Refauna in partnership with ASA.
